意识引导命运（二）

摘要：发心就是方法。发心就是种子，就是内在的一个因。当我们遇到违缘、障碍、痛苦时，马上就了解到是来自我们有自求的心，回归到不为自求上，我们的意识就有了转换的空间。

我们了解了自己的意识决定自己的命运，对这个东西要认识清晰。那如何能在我们的生命中去运用这个意识呢？

发心就是方法。发心就是种子，就是内在的一个因。去守护这个内心的种子，必定会有一个结果。像那些大的智慧者，他们的成就主要是来自他们对自己发心的守护。像他们发不为自求的心，作为广大、真诚，给予一切生命得到意乐的方法。不为自求是以利他为自利方便，他们并没有想着利益自己，总想着为他人着想，反而超越了自己的执著，获得了自由。我们不了解这一点，越为自求越获得不了自由，作为也越来越窄。所以当我们遇到违缘、障碍、痛苦时，马上就了解到是来自我们有自求的心，那我们及时地去调整，回归到不为自求上，人就容易从那些执著、痛苦中走出来，我们的意识就有了转换的空间。

不为自求是给我们生命带来意乐的善巧方法。

Mind leads life（part 2）

Now that we clearly understand that our mind determines our destiny，how can we make good use of our mind in daily life？

Adopting a great motivation is the way. Motivation is an internal cause，like a seed. If we protect and nurture this inner seed，it will produce a corresponding result. For those wise ones，their achievements come mainly from their firm commitment to their initial motivations. They make vows to seek nothing for themselves，but to benefit all sentient beings by providing them with methods to gain happiness and satisfaction. By doing so，they benefit themselves as well since they are able to transcend their attachment to the Self and thus achieve freedom.

If we don’t understand this point，the more we seek for ourselves，the less freedom we can get，and the fewer activities we can perform. So when we encounter whatever frustrations or sufferings，we should immediately realize that they come from our selfishness. If we can timely tune our motivation to selflessness，we will be released from our attachments and sufferings easily.

Seeking nothing for oneself is a skillful way to bring us happiness and satisfaction.
