通过工作来感受你是谁 —— 一位法国弟子对慈法法师开示的读后感

缘起：本文是来自法国的未曾有所写。未曾有是慈法法师的一位弟子，他学习佛法有两三年时间。数日前，未曾有读到慈法法师的《在休息娱乐中工作，在工作中休息娱乐》这篇开示，深受触动，便写下了这篇读后感。

我把师父对工作的开示一文一读再读，我想对我们可敬的法师的这段话贡献点儿我自己的感想。

法师把娱乐和工作连在了一起。在法国，“工作”一词是“艰苦劳作”的意思。这个词的起源在拉丁语中是酷刑的意思，所以在法国人的潜意识里，或者一些明意识里，工作被认为是一种酷刑般的折磨，是制度强加给我们的。

但是事实上，工作确实应该是娱乐、是快乐。所以工作实在不应该是工作!!! 不幸的是，我们地球上70%的人们在工作中找不到乐趣，他们都是为了生存而工作的。工作令绝大多数人远离任何一种心灵之路，因为他们感受到的是“没有自我”的身份，就像被锁进一座把他们彼此和生活分离的监狱一样。

我一直觉得，尤其是在西方国家，人们这种幻化的“没有自我”的行为和佛教教义中的那种觉悟的“无我”之间的差距巨大到人们难以理解。只有当人们在工作时与“真实的自己（注：作者用了“真实的自己”一词表达，但了知其仍然是幻化的）” 相应，工作在凡世中才能真正成为娱乐。

对我来说，工作不只是工作，更像是“你通过工作来感受你是谁，来体验我们‘真实的自己’”，意味着到最后你爱上真正的自己，而不是人们让你认为的自己。对我来说，这是把工作变成娱乐的一个必要条件，也是更深入理解佛法的一个桥梁。当你完全学会了爱自己，你才能够去接触、去爱他人。而且，当你缩短了这个距离，你离觉悟也就近了一大步。

现在我正在学习“人性化设计”并把它变成了我的工作，就是帮助人们去发现和体验他们“真实的自己”。这是我这个普通人在这个世界上的一种学习菩萨的行为。它也能让我每天都能离你们这些朋友们、离寺院、离慈法法师距离更近些。

工作已经成为我的娱乐，大部分是以我的“真实的自己”的方式来帮助人们一点点。般舟将带我在这条路上走得更远……

最终，当工作变成了娱乐，力量就会无穷！

To Experience Who You are Through Your Work

——Comments on Master Cifa’s Teachings

I was reading and re-reading this last article about working and l would like to contribute to our respected master’s words.

Master interweaves “entertainment” and “work” concepts…. in French the word ” work ” is “travail” and the origin of this word is Latin for a sort of torture….Therefore in French subconsciously but also consciously in some ways…Work is considered as a torture, something imposed on us by the system.

But the truth is that, indeed, work should be all entertainment and joy….SO work should not be work at all!!!! Unfortunately maybe 70% of people on this planet do not take pleasure at work, they work for survival and it drags most of them away from any kind of spiritual path because they experience a kind of NOT-SELF identity that locks them into a prison that separate them from each other and from life.

I have always felt, especially in western world, that the gap between the illusory NOT-SELF behavior of people and the Buddhist teachings of enlightened NO-SELF was really too wide for people to be grasped. Work could only be entertainment (in ordinary world) if people do the work that match their TRUE (BUT STILL ILLUSORY) SELF….

Work, to me, is not about work but more about “do you experience who you are through your work.” To experience our TRUE SELF means in the end, to love yourself the way you really are and not the way people make you believe you are….TO me it is a prerequisite to transform work into entertainment and ultimately it is also THE bridge to a deeper comprehension of Buddhist teachings….Because once you totally learn to love yourself you can access to others and love them and once this separation shrinks then the path to enlightenment has gone a great step further….

At the moment l am studying “human design” to make it my job to help people to discover and experience their TRUE SELF… It is my ordinary man’s Bodhisattva way in this world and it takes me everyday closer to you my friends, to temple, to Master Cifa ….

Work has become entertainment for me but most of all my TRUE SELF way to help people a little….Bozhou will take me further on the path from here….

And finally when work has become entertainment….The energy is limitless….
